Volunteer Training, Feb 4th, 2011

A packed house.... we were expecting around 30 volunteers, and ended up with nearly 60... such energy and commitment! Thank you to everyone who helped make the morning a place of learning and inspiration. I received a little 'FLIP' camera at Christmas, and this first film on the blog is an experiment: it was funny interviewing people on Friday, as no one knew the camera was a film camera, as it is so small... consequently, the results are amusing and very amateurish, but from the heart. This first film is of Elizabeth Nadler Nir, our trainer, telling us what words spring to mind when she thinks of Shine. Excuse the quality, but the sentiments are heartfelt. I WILL get better at interviewing, I promise!
