We trained over 110 volunteers over the course of the last few days; over 50 new volunteers. It was so good to welcome back existing volunteers, and to see new ones join our swelling ranks...welcome all! Thank you to the whole Shine team for helping to make the two day session such a success: Kerry from the office, Carrie, whom you all know, Amy from Observatory, Cherry, who has re-joined us until June, Trudi and Thandi, our new links, Sally, our new Remedial specialist, and of course, our very own Elizabeth Nadler Nir, who is an invaluable 'secret weapon': being in E's presence is a breath of fresh air; she is contagious! Finally a huge vote of thanks to the volunteers: without you, we could not function.
