'What a lovely farewell we had at Claremont today. It was particularly good to be able to say goodbye to my little Shine learner to bring the year to an end. I was very touched when she had a chance to write a praise note for me and immediately set to writing "I love you for reading for me..." When we first began working together she insisted on doing all the reading, but by the end of the year she had learned to sit and listen while I read a few more pages of her favourite Winnie the Pooh book - and she was entranced. I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Shine and thank you for the opportunity to experience this rewarding time.
